Date: Sun May 2 21:24:37 There are quite a few changes this update, but one really big one (which is why it's been so long since we last updated). There is a new player class available, called Alchemist! Alchemists are magic users, except that they cannot cast any spells. Instead, they use only objects, such as potions, wands, etc. This means that they have some neat unique abilities, but the class is recommended for experienced players, as they may be a bit difficult for those not already familiar with the game. From: The Draknor Staff Subject: Big changes are afoot! Date: Sun Jan 24 19:00:43 There are a lot of changes on this update, and one particularly big one. We've made a new user creation system that lets you keep changing your character's settings until you get it the way you like. At the same time, there are now settings to describe your character's appearance, such as the color of your eyes, hair, and skin. You can also set your height and weight. They are purely RP, and have no in-game affects. The settings for existing characters will be randomly selected based on your race. From: The Draknor Staff Subject: Darkus' Code Change Quest Reward Date: Thu Jan 14 19:58:20 As a result of a big quest win, Darkus was awarded a code change of his choice. He decided that spellcasters should be able to cast some spells above their own level. This has now been implemented! Now different spellgroups cast at different levels, depending on class. To see which spellgroups are affected, the "info" command shows the %s each group casts at. Congrats again to Darkus on his game night win, and sorry it took so long.
