Just a thought that I had,

With the clan equipment just limited to just having a sword, it puts the mystic class at a disadvantage since they do not normally use weapons.

would it be possible to implement some sort of clan armor to balance it out?

Well, there is always the clan crest.... but even with other armor, there's always that weapon difference.
